Meet Jessica Stairs

Junior Jessica Stairs capped her incredible season by being named USCAA Second Team All-American and First Team All-PSUAC.

Stairs had a breakout year, hitting .429 (30 hits) with seven homers and 26 RBI to go along with a .771 slugging percentage. Those numbers placed her fifth in the USCAA in home runs and eighth in slugging percentage.

In the PSUAC, Stairs' numbers placed her number one in home runs, fourth in slugging percentage and sixth in batting average earning her First Team All-PSUAC honors.

On the mound, she appeared in 10 games, going 4-3 with a 3.47 ERA (seventh in the PSUAC) and two shutouts (third best in the PSUAC). She struck out 44 and walked 22 in 46.1 innings, averaging 6.65 strikeouts per game (sixth in PSUAC).
