Ethan Kenney

The Penn State Fayette Department of Athletics would like to acknowledge and congratulate Fayette Wrestling student athlete, Ethan Kenney as the latest Athlete of the Week. Kenney is a junior and product of Connellsville, Pa.

Kenney, a captain of the Men's Wreslting team, was 1 of 6 to qualify for the NCWA National Championships help in Allen, Texas. Kenney advanced to the semifinals where he lost to Parker Simington from Air Force Prep. Simington won with a 4:24 fall. In the consolation round, Kenney won against Matt Yuste again with a 5-2 decision. Kenney ended up taking 5th place nationally and was chosen for National All-American.
