Fayette Athletics has successful year
Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Fayette Athletics had an incredible 2022-2023 year.
Penn State Fayette had an incredible year not only with seven post season appearances, but individually. Fayette was able to achieve thirty-three individual awards this season, which includes four "Player of the Year" awards. When recieving the individual awards it was no surpise, considering Fayette was able to lock up twenty-two total "Player of the Week" awards. Fayette not only performed athletically, but academically, securing fifty total academic awards between the conference and nationally. Making the overall GPA for Fayette's student athletes a 3.13, which is slightly higher than the PSUAC Conference average of a 3.1 (article found here: https://www.psuacsports.com/general/2022-23/releases/2022-23_PSUAC_Academic_Accomplishments). Due to such a high GPA average, Fayette finished tenth in the USCAA for the "President's Cup" out of eighty members (article found here: https://uscaaconvention.prestosports.com/2023_Convention/Presidents_Cup/2023_President_Cup_Standings.pdf).
