Quinonez, Thomas Awarded For Strong Conference Play

With the release of the 2016 PSUAC All-Conference awards, Penn State Fayette made a splash with two individual awards.

Francisco Quinonez, a freshman from Tampa, FL, received the honors of PSUAC 2nd Team All-Conference. Quinonez, a key asset to the Roaring Lions' successes, was among the batting average leaders of not just the PSUAC, but at a national level, ranking in the top 5 for most of the 2016 season.

Kody Thomas, a local product (Laurel Highlands) in his sophomore year with the Fayette Roaring Lions, received the honors of PSUAC Honorable Mention. Thomas finished the season as Fayette's most reliable on the mound. Thomas, a leader in the conference ERA category most of season, managed a conference record of 3-1 with a 1.75 ERA.
