Fayette Golf takes to the green in season opener

Lemont Furnace, PA- The Penn State Fayette Golf team traveled to Bradford, PA last weekend to compete in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational at Pine Acres Country Club.

There were 16 teams in attendance. The Roaring Lions golfers were eager and ready to start the season off strong, but had some tough competition at the invitational. Penn State Fayette finished 14^th out of the 16 teams competing with a final score of +86. Penn State Behrend were victorious at the tournament with a score of +24 and Grove City and La Roche College tied for second place at +33. The Roaring Lions are looking to bounce back at University Park with their first PSUAC match of the season at 10:00 AM on September 7th.
