Golf returned to competition at Penn National Golf

Fayetteville, PA - The Penn State Fayette Golf team finished in 5^th place after traveling to the Penn National Golf Course Invitational in Fayetteville, PA hosted Penn State Mont Alto on April 7.

The Fayette Golf team competed in a team scramble format tournament and recorded a team score of 66, which resulted in finishing 6 under (-6) from the course par of 72. Golfers for Fayette included Noah House, Jarred Provance, Bailey Stapleton, and Joshua Sterbutzel. Penn State Mont Alto was the top finisher at the Invitational with a team score of 59 (-13). Following behind Mont Alto were Penn State Brandywine A and Penn State Lehigh Valley tied for 2^nd with scores of 61 (-11), and Penn State Hazleton finishing in 4^th place with a team score of 64 (-8). Following behind Fayette were Penn State Brandywine B finishing in 6^th place with a team score of 68 (-4), and Penn State York finishing in 7^th place with a team score of 78 (+6).

Fayette Golf will return to action on April 10 when they travel to The Links at Spring Church Invitational in Springhill, PA hosted by Penn State New Kensington.
