Roaring Lions Land First Recruit of 2015-16 Season

The Penn State Fayette Men's Basketball team inked its first recruit of the year, London Aaron Hoxie of Menifee, California.  Hoxie, a 6'3'' combo guard was ranked the tenth best player in the state of California by ScoutsFocus.  Hoxie is currently finishing his senior season at Paloma Valley High School located in Menifee, where he primarily plays the guard position.

"We're extremely excited to bring in London, as well as the Hoxie family to the Fayette family.  He's an outstanding character, and his work ethic is superb," said head coach Mookie John.  John added, "Our player development efforts on the west coast have been excellent in creating this opportunity in working with London this coming August." As a junior, London was named Paloma's most improved player, leading the team in both rebounding and scoring.  In his senior campaign, London's averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Hoxie's efforts to "give back" are evident in his three years of community service, where he worked with area youth as a basketball instructor. "London is a threat on both ends of the court, which gives him a great opportunity to make an immediate impact on a talented group of returning guys," said John.

The Roaring Lions are currently 10-0 in PSUAC play and 14-3 overall.  They are in action Tuesday night when they travel to Penn State DuBois.
