Roaring Lions rise above Du Bois

    DUBOIS—Penn State Fayette's men's basketball team made it a clean sweep at Penn State DuBois with a 94-86 win in a high scoring affair this week.

    Fayette led 48-39 at halftime, despite leading by n more than nine points at any time. DuBois also led by six at one point.

    The hosts outscored Fayette by 47-46 in the last 20 minutes.

    The Roaring Lions were led by 28 points from Brandon Cunningham, 22 points from Brownsville's C.K. Gaddis, 20 points from Luke Williams, and 10 points each from Dominick Jackson and Spencer Perieff. Cunningham and Perieff led PSF with 8 and 7 rebounds, respectively, while Fayette was outrebounded 41 to 33 in the game.

    Fayette had a 35-30 edge in field goals and made 20 of 25 free throws compared to 18 of 23 free throws for DuBois.

    Fayette scored 18 points off 15 DuBois turnovers, while protecting the ball well with just 7 turnovers, which DuBois converted into nine points.
