#13 Fayette Set to Take on DuBois

The Penn State Fayette men's basketball team is set to host Penn State DuBois Friday night riding a three game winning streak and a season sweep of DuBois.  Tipoff is set for 8:00pm.  The Roaring Lions own an overall record of 7-8 and a PSUAC record of 6-2 while DuBois holds an overall record of 10-7 and PSUAC record of 4-5.  The Roaring Lions are currently ranked 3rd in the PSUAC and 13th in the USCAA.  

These two teams first met on December 11. The Roaring Lions posted a commanding win with a score of 94 to 86 over DuBois, ending a two game losing streak.  The Fayette men's team was led by seniors Brandon Cunningham, C.J. Gaddis and Luke Williams, each posting 20 or more points.  Cunningham notched a team high in both points and rebounds with 28 points and 8 rebounds, while Gaddis achieved a season high of 22 points and 6 rebounds.  Fayette went an impressive 80% (20-for-25) from the free throw line. 

-PLAYERS TO WATCH-

                #1 Luke Williams (G/F, 5'11'' Sr.) A starter in every game this year, Williams has been one of Fayette's most valuable players.  Williams is leading the Lions in both points per game and minutes per game with 21.3 points and 33.7 minutes.  He is sixth in the PSUAC in total minutes played and second in minutes per game.  Williams has accumulated a total of 320 points on the season through 15 games putting him first on the team.  Williams is third in the PSUAC in points per game while being 9th in the nation.  Williams has double digit points in 13 of 15 games this season.  Williams is putting up career numbers with a season high of 39 points against Warren Wilson.   Williams has made a team high 78 free throws and is tied for a team high 107 field goals made.  Williams is one of few Fayette players to reach the 1,000 point plateau.  Williams attained this remarkable achievement at the conclusion of the fall semester.

                #12 Brandon Cunningham (G/F, 6'3'' Sr.) Cunningham, also a starter of every game, is posting an impressive 19.0 points per game while averaging 5.9 rebounds per game.  Cunningham has led the Lions in rebounds with 89 rebounds while putting up 5 or more rebounds in 8 of 15 games.  Cunningham also is the leader in steals on the year. Cunningham has posted double digit points in 12 of 15 games.  Cunningham continues to post impressive numbers putting up 285 points on the season and is second on the team.  Cunningham remains 10th in the PSUAC in points per game and 7th in total points.
