An Electrifying Win From the Men's Basketball Team

LEMONT FURNACE— Heading into Friday night's game riding a four game win streak the Penn State Fayette men's Basketball team set to take on the Nittany Lions of DuBois.  The Roaring Lions put a beating on the Lions from DuBois with a commanding victory with a score of 91 to 74.

On Jan. 29 the Roaring Lions were led by three double digit scores.  Senior guard Brandon Cunningham led the way posting an impressive 24 points while going a 6 for 8 on his free throws.  Following right behind was senior guard Luke Williams with 19 points while going 2 for 2 on free throws. Spencer Perieff posted a season high with 11 rebounds to lead the Roaring Lions. 

Gustin Conde and Jordan Knappenberger led DuBois with 18 points and 14 points.  Conde would finish the night going 6 for 11 on free throws. 

The Roaring Lions led at half time by a score of 45 to 34.

Perieff led the Roaring Lions with 11 rebounds, Cunningham had 3 steals to lead the team. Right behind him was Perieff and Bristol with 2 a piece, while Gaddis led the way with four assists.

Fayette edged DuBois in field goals and three pointers making 35 of 71 field goals and 8 of 20 three pointers.  Fayette went an impressive 13 for 18 from the free throw line. 

The Roaring Lions would go on to win an electrifying game 91 to 74.  With another big conference win the Roaring Lions improved their record to 8-8 overall and 7-2 in the conference.

Fayette will be at home to face Penn State Schuylkill Saturday January 30 at 3pm.
