Fayette Men's Basketball win their first game in home opener

Penn State Fayette's guard play on Monday helped the lions top the Butler Community College Pioneers to earn their first win of the season. Fayette's hot shooting early put the lions out front early and Fayette would never give up that lead. The Lion's were led by guards Marvin Sidon and Dominck Jackson. Marvin finished the game shooting 5-8 and going 3-4 from 3-pt; he posted 15 points and dished out 5 assists. Dominick Jackson led all fayette scorers with 17 points and snagging 7 rebounds. Jordan Pratt, Benjamin Wilson, and Atrayo Matthews all came off the bench to drop 9 points each to help route the Lions over the Pioneers.

Fayette's next game will be Wednesday night against Point Park University at 8:00 PM. Point Park Men's basketball is winless so far to start the season and will come out hungry against the Lions. The Lion's look to build momentum off Monday's win as they conitinue out of conference play.
