Fayette finishes January with loss to Greater Allegheny

Lemont Furnace, Pa - The Men's Basketball Team finished the month of January with a loss. On Tuesday, the Roaring Lions faced a tough division rival. Greater Allegheny is the second best team in the PSUAC, and Fayette knew it wasn't going to be an easy game.

Fayette started off slow. And at one point in the first half, Greater Allegheny had a 17-point lead. The Lions dug themselves too big of a hole, and they could not climb out of it in the second half. Fayette lost 99-87.

Dominick Jackson once again led all scorers with 27 points; he also had 3 rebounds. Marvin Sidon had 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tanner Huffman had 4 rebounds and 2 assists. And coming off the bench, Benjamin Wilson had 9 rebounds.

The Lions are now 5-8 in the PSUAC play and 7-14 overall. Penn State Fayette will face Penn State Beaver on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 7pm.
