Roaring Lions Blow Out Beaver 98-71; Recognize Seniors

The Roaring Lions started off February with a dominant win over Penn State Beaver. In their previous games, the Lions struggled to get hot early in the game and then they would have to play from behind for the rest of the game. The Lions didn't have this problem on Saturday when Beaver came into town.

The Lions came out of the gates on fire. Within the first 8 seconds, Anthony Bristol (Fayette) made a 3-pt. jump shot. And from there, the Lions had the control and the momentum the game. Fayette held the lead the entire time, and Beaver struggled to even narrow the gap. The Roaring Lions won 98-71.

The Roaring Lions had six double-digit scores in the win against Beaver. For the third straight game, Dominick Jackson led all scorers in points. He put up 24-points. Spencer Perieff put up the second most points with 19. He also had 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Tanner Huffman had 14 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. Anthony Bristol had 12 points and 10 rebounds. And coming off the bench, Marvin Sidon and Benjamin Wilson put 11 and 10 points up, respectively.

Fayette will look for another dominant win on Tuesday when they play a non-conference team. The Roaring Lions will travel to Kent St.-Tuscarawas. Tip-off is set for 7pm.
