Men's Basketball drop opening contest to WVU Tech

The Penn State men's basketball team opened the 2018-19 season with a 125-72 loss in the WVU Tech Classic Half Court Shootout to the hosts.

While the outcome was never in doubt in the exhibition contest, head coach Ken Johnson was able to get plenty of players minutes as 10 players played at least 10 minutes and it will help provide depth once the team enters conference play.

Tavian Mozie (McClellandtown, PA/Albert Gallatin HS) led Fayette with 26 points and hit six three-pointers.

Marvin Sidon (Lahaina, HI/Lahainaluna HS) added 16 points with the help of four three-pointers and had seven assists while London Hoxie (Menifee, CA/Paloma Valley HS) scored 10 points.

Fayette shot 38% (21-56) from the field overall and 47% (15-32) on three-point attempts.
