MBB drops contest at St. Vincent

The Penn State Fayette men's basketball team dropped a 75-62 non-conference game at St. Vincent College Tuesday night.

"I thought we fought like crazy tonight and played extremely hard," first-year head coach Marcus Thomas said. "We struggled shooting the ball but our defense really kept us in it.  Unfortunately, every time we were able to go on a run and cut it to five or six, they stepped up and made a play.  We will to recognize those moments on the floor that are creating a momentum shift and hopefully we will become the team making those critical plays."

Iman Young (Silver Springs, MD/West Potomac HS) led Fayette with 21 points and 15 rebounds, Dom Boring (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster HS) tallied 16 points and six rebounds and Josh Hankins (Phoenix, AZ/Pinnacle HS) added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Nittany Lions head to Ohio for a pair of games this weekend as they are at Miami University Hamilton Saturday and Cincinnati-Clermont Sunday.

Both contests have 3:00 PM tipoffs.

"We have some guys banged up so hopefully we can get healthy and can prepare for a challenging weekend on the road."
