Fayette Softball played the defending USCAA National Champions on Sunday afternoon. This double header was their third of the weekend, starting with Friday when they took on New Kensington. The first game of the double header was a rough way to start the day, losing 11-0. However the young Fayette team put their best foot forward, showing improvement in the second game. Fayette was able to score 4 runs on the USCAA Nationally ranked team, but despite their best efforts, Brandywine took the game 17-4. Taryn Stewart led for Fayette with 2 RBIs, 2 hits and 1 run.
