Kalp Breaks School Record

Pittsburgh, PA- Kalp breaks school record at Carnegie Mellon.

Ladies, and Gentlemen we have a new school record in the women's 1,500 meters!!! Chloe Kalp  beat the old record by nearly 5 seconds, with a time of 5:33.53. Chloe said after the race "I gave it, everything I had". Chloe was not the only female athlete setting personal records (PR's), Alysha Lessman set PR's in the discus (92'3") and javelin(71'5").

 

On the men's team, we had two athletes set new PR's Kyler Theodori through the javelin 73'5". David Hilty(46'8"), and Kyler Theodori(40'7") both set personal best in the hammer event

 

Coach Shane ecstatic with the performances of all his athletes. He could be seen on the side of the track cheering on every Penn State Fayette athlete through out the day. "Today was a great day for a track meet," according to coach Shane.
