Tf charges forward at IUP

Indiana, PA- Penn State Fayette track and field showed numbers at the IUP Meet.

Track and field is tuning up strong for Nationals with good finishes at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Chloe Kalp showed up big at IUP in the 5,000 meter, placing second with a 19:57.90 in the competition. 

Head Track and Field Coach Shane Bush shared his thoughts on the great performance overall, " As we begin focusing on Nationals, this was the kink of meet we needed to have. We had a number of PR's set today and a lot performances that where close to setting new PR's. We have one more meet at Howard CC to prepare for the nationals, and I look forward to seeing more PR's and our athletes qualifying for the national meet."

Track and field will be heading to Howard Community College on Saturday, April 15 to finish out their regular season before the USCAA National Invitational.
