The Roaring Lady Lion's basketball team won their home opener against Butler Community College on Monday night. The Lion's had four scorers in double digits as they toppled BCC. Haley Moreland led fayette in scoring with 21 points; she also had 6 steals and 6 rebounds. Taylor Smith also had a big game as she posted 14 points along with 14 boards. Courtney Haines also finished with double digit scoring as she dropped 16 points. Kayla Yorko came off the bench and provided 12 points.
The Lady Lion's now move to 2-3 on the season and look to get back on track to a winning season. The Ladies' next game will be at home against a tough Point Park team at 6:00 PM. Point Park is 3-1 on the season will be a difficult test for the Lions. So come out and support your Lady Lions!
