Lemont Furnace, PA- The Penn State Fayette Lady Roaring Lions ended their regular season hosting Penn State DuBois. The Lady Roaring Lions started off on a slow start, trying to find rhythm to fight for the higher seed. At the end of the first, they were tied 14 each. Penn State Fayette took the lead over DuBois halfway through the 2nd quarter and never looked back. Outplaying Penn State DuBois, the Lady Roaring Lions took the 5th seed with a win of 73-61.
For Penn State Fayette, they were led by four athletes for the night. Junior Haley Moreland, had a game high of 18 points for Fayette. Senior Courtney Haines had 13 points with 6 assists and steals. Sophomore Lyndsey Huhn had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Also, freshman Siteri Tale one of the newest players this semester had 10 points and 9 rebounds.
For Penn State DuBois, they were led by Kristen Williams and Kashius Harris both with 13 points. Hope Bridge also added on 12 points for her team.
The Penn State Fayette Lady Roaring Lions will travel to play in the PSUAC Playoffs on Wednesday February 15th.
