Seniors honored in strong team win by Roaring Lions wrestling
Lemont Furnace, PA – The Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions wrestling team hosted nationally ranked Kent State Tuscarawas in the first home match of the 2017-18 wrestling season on Wedensday, January 10th, 2018.
Proved to be an exciting evening, fans, friends, and the campus community came out to support the Department of Athletics honored current wrestling seniors in a special pre-match senior recognition ceremony. Seniors recognized were Ethan Kenney, Mike Perdomo, Nathan Spinetti, Pedro Tavarez, Cody Maurin, and Gunnar Lynch.
The Roaring Lions would eventually defeat Kent State Tuscarawas in an eventful evening highlighted by standout performances from senior Pedro Tavarez and sophomore Josh Godzin. Match results listed below.
