Fayette volleyball defeats New Kensington in 4

Lemont Furnace, PA – Penn State Fayette volleyball competed in another PSUAC match-up yesterday. The Roaring Lions hosted Penn State Kensington in the Community Center Gym at 7:00 PM. In the last match-up against these two teams, Penn State Fayette was victorious and won the match, 3-0. The Roaring Lions were looking to continue their unbeaten record at home.

Penn State Fayette won the match, 3-1. The first two sets went 25-8 and 25-14, in favor of Penn State Fayette. The 3rd set was taken by Penn State New Kensington, 25-19. The Roaring Lions would bounce back and take the 4th set, 25-10. For the Roaring Lions, Siteri Tale recorded 18 kills and 8 digs. Hannah Lipniskis tallied 7 kills and 2 digs. Khani Young would tally 6 kills along with Morgan Pytlak, who had 6 kills and 9 digs. Kyonte Martin had 5 kills and 9 digs for the Roaring Lions. Alex Muccioli had 11 digs and Chanel Porter had 7 digs on the evening. Machaela Hall had another big game of assists with 37. Hall would record 4 digs as well for the Roaring Lions. Penn State Fayette continues to be undefeated (7-0) at the Community Center Gym.

Coming up next, The Roaring Lions will travel to DuBois, PA on Wednesday, October 18th to compete in another big PSUAC match-up. They will take on Penn State DuBois at 7:00 PM. On Thursday, October 19th, the Roaring Lions will be back at home and will host Penn State Beaver at 7:00 PM. On Friday, October 20th, Penn State Fayette will host Allegany College of Maryland at 7:00 PM in the "Break the Silence" game. Join Penn State Fayette and show awareness for domestic violence by wearing purple to the game on Friday. There will be shirts for $10 and all proceeds will be donated to our local Fayette County domestic violence shelter.
