Penn State Du Bois no match for Fayette Volleyball

Lemont Furnace, PA – Penn State Fayette volleyball traveled to DuBois, PA yesterday to face off against Penn State DuBois. Penn State Fayette has won the last 7 games, with 6 of those teams being in the PSUAC. The Roaring Lions were looking to continue their win streak against another PSUAC team. In the last match-up, the Roaring Lions hosted the first home game of the season against Penn State DuBois. Penn State Fayette would win the match, 3-0.

Penn State Fayette would defeat Penn State DuBois again and keep the win streak alive with a 3-1 victory. The first set went 25-21, in favor of Penn State DuBois. Penn State Fayette would re-group and win the next 3 sets. Those sets were 25-22, 25-16 and 25-22. Kayla Barbabella, Alex Muccioli and Kyonte Martin tallied 6 digs. Chanel Porter had 8 digs. Hannah Lipniskis contributed with 3 kills and 2 digs. Morgan Pytlak tallied 9 kills and 6 digs. Khani Young recorded 12 kills, 2 digs and 3 blocks for the Roaring Lions. Machaela Hall had 34 assists and 11 digs on the evening and Siteri Tale had a big game of kills with 19. Also, Tale had a big game of digs with 22. With this victory, the Roaring Lions' win streak extends to 8 in a row.

Coming up next, the Roaring Lions will host Penn State Beaver tonight in the big PSUAC match-up. The match is set to begin at 7:00 PM in the Community Center Gym.
