Lady Nittany Lions roll over PS-New Kensington

New Kensington, Pa - The Penn State Fayette volleyball picked up its second PSUAC road win in as days on Sunday, October 14 with a 3-0 sweep at PSU New Kensington.

"This was a good game for us going into the last week of conference games," said coach Sam Swtez. "I am excited to see the placement of everyone for championships."

The scores of the three sets were 25-11, 25-19 and 25-14.

Chanel Porter (Cumberland, MD/Allegany HS) had 19 digs and two aces, Jadyn Barnish (Carmichaels, Carmichaels HS) recorded 33 aces, Morgan Pytlak (Rillton, PA/Yough HS) had 11 kills and three blocks, Kiki Martin (Brownsville, PA/Brownsville HS) had eight kills and Siteri Tale (Uniontown/Laurel Highlands HS) had 10 kills and two blocks.

The team (16-7, 7-1) hosts Penn State Greater Allegheny on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m.

As of Sunday night, Fayette is a half-game behind Penn State DuBois (8-1 PSUAC) in the West division while Penn State Brandywine (9-0) is up two games on second-place Penn State Hazleton (7-2) in the East division.
