Lombardo commits to National Championship program

Lemont Furnace, PA - Larisa Lombardo has decided to commit to the Penn State Fayette's volleyball program. Lombardo is a Southmoreland graduate, who is transferring from Saint John's University and is looking to pursue academic and athletic excellence by becoming a part of the reigning National Champion Volleyball program. Larisa will be coming into Fayette with her own accomplishment of a 2018 2nd Team All-Section award. Larisa will be majoring in Fayette's four-year program of Administration of Justice.

"I'm most excited to play for an awesome team in a college setting" Lombardo exclaimed.

Larisa's parents have been a major motivation for her future by pushing her to be at her best. "My dad has proven to me that hard work can get you anywhere, and that is how I go about every challenge in my life." Larisa plans to go on to law school after her time at Penn State Fayette and become a prosecutor.
