VB falls to PSU Mont Alto 3-1

Mont Alto, PA- Penn State Fayette Volleyball traveled to Penn State Mont Alto Friday night.

Undefeated in the conference, Penn State Mont Alto got the best of Penn State Fayette Friday night with a 3-1 win (25-12,25-12,24-26,25-15).

Coach Joel Wingard spoke about the match, "The team did well even in this loss. They are each finding moments of brillance, it's just a matter of bringing it all together at once. I liked their ability to not give up even in the difficult times. They have that winning attitude and with a little more consistency will find that winning outcome more often."

Bella Buwawa led the team with 10 kills and 7 total blocks, Pasepa Buwawa, PSUAC Player of the Week trailed with 8 kills and 11 digs.

Fayette is set to take on Penn State Shenango at home Saturday, October 1 at 12:00 PM, which will close out the first half of the season.
