Kalp wins, Strong first meet for XC

Youngwood, PA- Cross Country shows up strong at first meet of the season.

Cross Country had a strong first meet this past weekend at Westmoreland County Community College. Fourth year, Chloe Kalp ran a 21:52 which put her with a first place finish. First year, Marco Peccon, for the men's team had a great first meet finishing 14th out of 36 runners. 

Coach PJ Savini shared his thoughts on the meet, "It was a great weekend with  our small team making big strides on the road to self improvement with Chloe Kalp finishing first overall for the women and both Marco Peacon and Sam Leonard showing great potential in their first ever collegiate cross country meet."

Fayette Cross Country is back in action on Saturday at Bethany College.
