Miranda Nichols

The Penn State Fayette Department of Athletics would like to acknowledge and congratulate Fayette Softball student athlete, Miranda Nichols as the latest Athlete of the Week. Nichols is a Senior and product of Brownsville, Pa.

Nichols, a captain of the Softball team, was a valuable contributor for the Lady Roaring Lions and their impressive 11 game winning streak from April 8th-21st. In the past 5 contests, Nichols went 7-for-17 talling 5 runs and 5 RBI's. Nichols will be an impact player in their final regular season doubleheader against PSU Greater Allegheny and their play-in postseason contest at home against a competitive force in PSU New Kensington on Friday, April 28th.
