Maryland product joins Fayette softball 2019-20 recruit class

Lemont Furnace, PA – Cassidy Uphold has committed to furthering her academic and athletic career at Penn State Fayette. Uphold resides in Accident, MD where she attends Northern Garrett High School and plans to major in Administration of Justice.

In her high school athletic career, Uphold was recognized as a two-time 1st team AMAC recipient in softball and a 1st team AMAC recipient in volleyball

When asked what she's most looking forward to as the newest member of Penn State Fayette, she said "to meet new people and create new freinds while continuing to play softball."

Uphold credits her family, and specifically her Father, for the motivation and influence in her hard work ethic towards being the best she can be in the classroom and on the field.

Uphold joins a highly anticipated recruit class of the 2019-20 and will be joining a program of demonstrated success.
