Fayette drops both games of double header

Lemont Furnace, PA- The Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions were in action this past Friday for a double header against visiting Penn State Du Bois.  Du Bois has had a strong season so far this year and continued their winning ways against Fayette.  Du Bois was able to control both games of the double header winning game one by a final of 9-2 and winning game two by a final of 14-3.

Highlighted players for Fayette from game one included Jaryn Addis who was able to have 1 run on 2 hits with 4 at bats and Ross Mazer who had 1 run off 1 hit with 3 at bats.

Highlighted players for Du Bois from game one included Clayton Butler with 1 run and 1 RBI off of 2 hits and 4 at bats and Brandon Gettig with 2 runs and 1 RBI off of 2 hits and 3 at bats.

Highlighted players for Fayette from game two included Kody Thomas with 1 run off of 2 hits with 3 at bats and performances from Ross Mazer and Jaryn Addis who each had 1 run off 1 hit and 3 at bats.

Highlighted players for Du Bois from game two included Garrett Brown with 1 run and 2 RBI's off of 2 hits and 4 at bats and John White with 2 runs and 1 RBI off of 2 hits and 1 at bats.

Baseball will be back in action on Sunday, April 8^th as they travel to Penn State Du Bois for a single game match up.
