Golf getting better every match
Lemont Furnace, PA- The Penn State Fayette Golf team competed in their first PSUAC compeition of the year on Thursday September 8th, The White Invitational.
James Zakrzwski placed 2nd at the White invitational with a score of 74, making his presence known in only his second year at Fayette.
The team score tallied at 336 in the match, making Fayette have a 5th place finish overall out of 11 teams competiting, which equaled out to 70 golfers.
"The goal is to continue to get better at every event, Coach Freddie said. "We will continue to practice and get ready for our next event, Wednesday, September 21st at Duck Hollow Golf Club."
