Golf Match feels like Home

Uniontown, PA- Fayette golf felt more at home this past match by playing at home course Duck Hollow Club. 

 

After putting in some miles, Fayette was finally home to host the their own Invitational. The golf team had 4 players participating at yesterday's home match hosted by Duck Hollow Golf Club. Joining
Fayette in their PSUAC golf match was York, Greater Allegheny, Hazleton, and Mont Alto. 

"Chase put in a solid performance as a freshman," second year Coach Freddie Harriso said. "Dylan is right there but golf has a way of beating you down at times but I know he will bounce back in our next Event Friday September 23rd we will be traveling to Kent State and Oak Shadow Golf Club."

Fayette had a respectable team placing of third, with a 355 team score. Leading the team was Jim Zakrzwski with a 83, followed by Chase Malanosky (89), Dylan Pawlak (90), and Nate Moody (93).

Coach Freddie spoke about his second year golfers James and Nate,"James and Nate had solid front nines but as many do faded on the back nine."

 

The golf team will hit their halfway point in the season this Friday, September 22 at Kent State and Oak Shadow Golf Club.
