The Penn State Fayette Men's and Women's Soccer team lost at Penn State Mont Alto in Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference action Friday, 18-0.
Playing on the road with only 14 players, Fayette (1-7, overall, 1-6 PSUAC) fell behind 2:04 into the match when Thomas Oberholzer gave Mont Alto (6-10, 2-5) its first goal and the only one it would need.
Six different Mont Alto players scored twice, and the hosts had 25 shots on goal while Fayette did not officially put a shot on net.
Fayette concludes its inaugural season this week with a pair of home matches. It hosts Penn State Greater Allegheny (8-6, 5-3) Tuesday at 3 p.m. and then Penn State Scranton (2-5-1, 2-4-1) comes to town for a noon kick Thursday.
