Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette had a tough loss to Waynesburg at home.
Fayette had a tough go tonight against Waynesburg at home. Fayette was outscored in all quarters except the fourth. Fayette seemed to struggle on both ends of the court, while Waynesburg thrived with 41 total rebounds and 40% shooting percentages. Depite the loss, Sophia Zalar led for Fayette with 17 points and Abigail Bickerton led defensively with 11 rebounds.
Head Coach Scott Hillen commented on the game, "We struggled on both sides tonight and did not play to our full potential."
Fayette will take a winter break, but will be back at it in January with a game against PSU Hazleton on the 12th at Hazleton.
