VB closes out regular season on a win

Sharon, PA- Fayette Volleyball closed out their regular season on a win against PSU Shenango 3-0.

 

Fayette Volleyball had a great last regular season win against PSU Shenango with a 3-0 victory and sets of 25-9, 25-17 and 25-11.

Pasepa Driso-Buwawa has an outstanding game with 12 kills and 9 digs, along with Makenzie Hall accomplishing 12 digs and Emma Eckert tallying 14 assists.

The team has shown major improvement from their first half of the season accomplishing a 9-1 record in the month of October. Fayette's only loss over the last 10 games is to PSUAC Conference rival PSU Greater Allegheny. Fayette Volleyball has secured their spot in the PSUAC Playoffs with a 3rd seed on the West. Fayette will take on 2nd seed PSU Greater Allegheny at Greater Allegheny on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. for a quarter-final match up. If Fayette secures the win on Thursday, they will move on to play semi-finals at University Park in Rec Hall.

Coach Joel spoke about the upcoming playoff game, "The team seems really excited and motivated for playoffs. This is the simultaneously the hardest I've seen each player wok and have fun all season. It's a good feeling to see them loving the sport this much at this point in the season."
