Men's Basketball Team Prepares For Huge Week Ahead of Them

-PREVIEW-

After a great start the second part of the season the Penn State Fayette men's basketball has only dropped one game thus far.  With a six game win streak the Lions have put themselves in a second place spot in the PSUAC.  The Roaring Lions are on the road for three huge conference matches this week.  The Lions are set to take on Penn State New Kensington Wednesday night, Penn State Worthington Scranton Friday night and Penn State Wilkes-Barre Saturday afternoon.  With three wins this week the Roaring Lions would find themselves a top of the PSUAC earning themselves a buy into the second round.

Fayette will be on the road Wednesday night to face Penn State New Kensington.  These two teams have faced off earlier in the season with Fayette posting a commanding victory with a score of 85 to 63 ending a 3 game losing streak.  Friday night the Roaring Lions will meet Worthington Scranton for the first time this year.  In the last three season Fayette holds a 2 and 1 record against Worthington Scranton.  Saturday afternoon the

Roaring Lions will close the regular season on the road against a tough Penn State Wilkes-Barre team.  Wilkes-Barre had a rough start to the beginning of their season accumulating 8 loses and only 3 wins in the first semester.  Since then they have put together an impressive second part of the season accumulating 7 wins and 5 loses putting them 5th in the PSUAC.  Wilkes-Barre has notched some impressive wins against tops teams such as 1st place Mont Alto and 3rd place Greater Allegheny.  These two teams have yet to meet this year.  The last time these two teams met Fayette was victories with a score of 79 to 69 in overtime.  If the Lions are able to pull off three wins they could see themselves as the favorites going into playoffs.
