Graduating student athletes give “Impact Award” to staff and faculty

Lemont Furnace, PA- Graduating student athletes give "Impact Award" to staff and faculty on campus.

Graduating student athletes were asked to pick someone on campus that have made an impact on them during their time at Penn State Fayette. Each student athlete delivered the award to their choice and shared with them why they made an impact on their college experience.

Below is the student athlete's name and who they selected for their award:

Abigail Bickerton selected Dave Rider. Dave Rider is the scoreboard operator for basketball and volleyball games.

Dylan Bohna selected Ryan Encapera. Coach Encapera is the head baseball coach.

Sawyer D'Andrea selected Mike Romeo. Mike is an admissions counselor.

Matthew Forbes selected Samantha Swetz. Samantha is the assistant athletic director.

Chloe Kalp selected Dr. Jo Jankoski. Dr. Jo is a professor of Human Development and Family Studies.

DeVean Reed selected Brandy Burke. Brandy is an administrative support assistant in the Student Success Center.

Madison Richards selected Dr. Aris Karagiorgakis. Dr. Aris is a professor of Psychology.

Stephanie Taylor selected Sharon Rendine. Sharon is a financial assistant in the Athletics Department.
