Job title: Sports Administration and Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities: The Sports Administration and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the following (as applicable):
- Work with department staff in collecting and reporting finances.
- Coordination of game-day operations for sporting events
- Maintain comprehensive operation manuals and protocols.
- Ensuring the department compliances of internal constituents
- Assistant supervisor of campus fitness center and recreational services
- Ordering department goods and equipment
- Keeping organized inventory records
- Develop and implement marketing materials for upcoming events and department facilities.
- Additional duties as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications: Pursuing a career/degree in sports/business management, administration, or marketing. Current certification in CPR/AED/First Aide highly recommended.
Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft office. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter. A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in leadership, oral and written communication skills, and passion for the Department’s mission, vision, and goals. A successful candidate must demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences as well as possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The nature of the position will require some evening and weekend hours.
*Appointment is contingent upon successful criminal and Penn State clearance background requirements.

Responsibilities: The Sports Information and Content Creator will be responsible for the following (as applicable):
- Work with department staff in collecting information of student athletes.
- Coordination of game-day operations for sporting events.
- Creating content for social media and the website.
- Assisting in writing articles for the website that involve intros to seasons and recaps of games.
- Create “game day” programs for every home event.
- Tasks associated with the Fayette Athletics Network, including but not limited to livestream operation and production.
- Conduct interviews with coaches and student athletes before/after games.
- Develop and implement marketing materials for upcoming events and department facilities.
- Additional duties as necessary.
