
Graduating student athletes give annual “Impact Award”
Lemont Furnace, PA- Graduating student athletes give annual "Impact Award" to staff, faculty and fellow students on campus.
Graduating student athletes were asked to pick someone on campus that has made an impact on them during their time at Penn State Fayette. Each student athlete delivered the award to their choice and shared with them why they made an impact on their college experience.
Below is the student athlete's name and who they selected for their award:
Samuel Leonard selected fellow student John Matray. He has known John since grade school.
Andrew Despot selected former Athletic Director Stephen Oberly.
Nate Moody selected Brandy Burke, which is was an important part of his SAGE (Student Athletes Graduate and Excel) experience.
Dylan Pawlak selected interim Athletic Director Samantha Swetz.
Kamden Miller selected late Professor Carol Evans, which was important part of her succeeding in her nursing degree.
Noah Matthews selected Professor Michael Ridenour, which was his favorite educator while pursuing his Business degree.
Jen Zelenick selected Professor Wendy Edgar, the assistant teaching professor for nursing on campus.
