PSF Distance Classic
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is excited to announce the PSF Distance Classic is returning to Penn State Fayette on Saturday, September 23, 2023. This prestigious event attracts a large scale community fan-base from across the tri-country and mid-Atlantic region.
The event will include races by collegiate, high school, and junior high runners. In all, over 700 athletes will be participating in the event. In the past, well over 2,000 spectators were on hand to cheer on these student athletes and we predict the trend will continue. The runners will be representing nearly ninety teams from over thirty-five schools and institutions. The junior high and high school runners will be participating in the AJ Everhart Invitational, which is celebrating its thirty-first year at Penn State Fayette. Their races will be 3 kilometers and 5 kilometers.
The collegiate runners will be competing in the 7th Annual Roaring Lions Invitational, a race of 6 kilometers and 8 kilometers where nearly 300 men and women college students athletes compete each year.
