Baseball drops game to Alexandria

Lake Myrtle Sports Park- Baseball drops game to Alexandria in Russmatt Invitational.

Baseball had a rough morning at the Russmatt Invitational verse Alexandria today. Alexandria had a head start on the game with a quick four runs to start off their batting in the bottom of the fourth. Fayette answered short with only two runs scored by first year players Dino Dolden and Jaxon Monnard. Despite a fielders inning in the third, Alexandria scored an addional run in the fourth and two in the bottom of the sixth. Recieving an RBI in the top of the sixth was second year player, Riley Henck. Alexandria took the seven inning game with a final score of 7-3. The team will pick up tomorrow for their final game of the invitational with a double header against Schoolcraft at 9:00 A.M.
