McHenry, MD- Fayette Baseball has loss to Garrett County Community College.
The nine inning game started out in a battle throughout the first three innings. GCCC's bats became loud during the fourth and didn't quiet down until the the seventh, with 8 runs scored. Despite Fayette's best efforts, the damage was done, with a final score of 15-6 in GCCC's favor. Jaxon Monnard, a first year player for Fayette had a great game with 3 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs. Fayette will look forward to the weekend with series against Penn State New Kensington, starting Saturday at noon. Saturday will also feature Youth Day and Senior Recognition.
