
Golf takes seventh at PSUAC White Invitational
The Penn State Fayette golf team placed seventh at the 2019 Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) White Course Invitational on Thursday, September 5 after shooting a 331.
Ryan Gesso (Uniontown, PA/Laurel Highlands) looked best for Fayette after shooting an 82 while Louis Gonzales (Port Lavaca, TX/Calhoun HS), Noah House (Mt. Pleasant/Southmoreland HS) and Ethan Greene (Carmichaels, PA/Carmichaels HS) all finished one shot behind.
Jarred Provance (Uniontown, PA/Uniontown HS) shot an 85, Joshua Sterbutzel (McClellandtown, PA/Albert Gallatin HS) was next after shooting a 99, Lucas Long (West Newton, PA/ Belle Vernon Area HS) finished with a 105 and Pablo Gudiel (Washington, DC/Woodrow Wilson HS) shot a 106.
PSU Lehigh Valley and PSU Hazleton tied for the lead after each shot a 306 with Lehigh Valley winning via a tiebreaker.
Fayette returns to action Monday at the PSU DuBois tournament.
