Fayette drops tilt to Rochester

For the second time in as many days, the Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions men's basketball team dropped a contest, this time to NAIA and USCAA Division I member Rochester College, 92-58.

 

Fayette was led by sophomore James Pratt, who scored 18 points and dished out four assists. Sophomore Ian McCombs grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, while senior Tim O'Bryant scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting against his former team. The Roaring Lions made a season-high eight thre-point field goals, with junior Anthony Howard making three for his nine total points. Sophomore David Winns missed his second consecutive game with an injury.

 

Rochester proved to big and fast for Fayette, creating 25 turnovers with full-court pressure and outrebounding the Roaring Lions 57-29. The Warriors were led by Michael Graham with 16 points and a game-high 9 rebounds while Lorenzo McClelland scored 15 points.

 

The Roaring Lions return to PSUAC action Saturday, Jan. 15, when then travel to Penn State Mont Alto at 3:00 p.m.
