UNIONTOWN, Pa. – It was the double-double to end all double-doubles. Ryan Hart (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored 23 points and pulled down 23 rebounds in leading Fayette to a 93-83 victory over Penn State Scranton.
Junior David Winns recorded a double-double of his own, dropping 24 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Senior Joshua Tomson (Greensburg, Pa.), playing in his final regular season game at Fayette, added 12 points and three assists.
The Roaring Lions trailed by three at the break, but outscored their opponents 55-42 in the second half.
Haslin Dixon led Scranton with 28.
Fayette is the sixth seed for the upcoming PSUAC tournament and will travel to #3 DuBois on Monday, Feb. 20 for an 8 p.m. tip.
