Roaring Lions Pull Away to Defeat Lehigh Valley 93-69

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – Penn State Fayette used a 25-4 in the final 13 minutes to defeat a feisty Lehigh Valley squad 93-69.

 

The Lions had cut the lead to 53-48 on a Lloyd Irons number at the 13:28 mark. Brandon Cunningham (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif) hit a layup to ignite the run. Cunningham had six and David Winns (Washington, D.C.) had 10 during the run.

 

The senior All-American notched the double-double with a game high 25 points and 19 rebounds. Fellow Senior Ryan Hart (Pittsburgh, Pa.) also had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds .

 

James Pratt (Uniontown, Pa.) added 21 and dished out six assists to go along with four steals.

 

Cunningham finished with 19 while Dierre Jenkins (Uniontown, Pa.) also had 11 for the winners.

 

Fayette improves to 5-7 overall and 4-2 in the PSAUC. The Roaring Lions are off until Jan. 4 when they host Rochester College for a 5:30 p.m. tip.
