Seniors Shine On Senior Night

LEMONT FURNACE— to cap off senior recognitions night the Roaring Lions rolled past Lehigh Valley with a score of 89 to 77.  Luke Williams, Brandon Cunningham and C.J. Gaddis were all recognized Saturday afternoon as they played their last home game of their career.     

On Feb. 6 the three seniors put on a show Saturday night scoring 66 of 89 points on the night. Luke Williams led the Lions in score tallying 31 points on the night bringing his season total to 446 points.  Brandon Cunningham followed right behind Williams netting 27 points to finish off the afternoon.  C.J. Gaddis would round off the senior scoring with 8 points.   

Brandon Holland was really the only player to show up for Lehigh Valley tallying a team high 15 points on the afternoon.  Sekou Mangassabou was a beast down low accumulating 10 rebounds the most by any player on either team.        

The Roaring Lions had a huge lead at halftime with a score of 53 to 34.

Fayette edged Lehigh Valley 3 pointers and free throws, while Lehigh had the upper hand in field goals.     

The Roaring Lions took a bite out of the opponent beating 89 to 77. With another huge conference win this puts the Lions in second place in the PSUAC with a record of 11-2 

Fayette will be on the road for another bug conference matchup facing Penn State New Kensington Wednesday February 10.
