Fayette’s Losing Streak Extended to 5

The Roaring Lions are having a rocky month. They won their first two games in January but then went on to lose five straight. Lately, they have struggled to get hot in the first half, and they have had to play from behind in the second half. The game they had last night wasn't any different.

The Lions traveled to Penn State Greater Allegheny. Fayette once again fell behind early. And going into the half, they were down by 17 points. In the second half, Greater Allegheny widened their lead. And with around 12 minutes left, Fayette found themselves getting blown out. They had a 24 point deficit. The Lions did eventually find a rhythm. And with two minutes left in the game, they closed the gap. They were only down by two points. But in the end, the Lions' comeback fell short. And the final score was 84-78

Dominick Jackson led all scorers with 24 points. He also had five rebounds and three assists. London Hoxie put up 15 points and had 6 rebounds. Marvin Sidon also had double-digit points with 11, and he had eight rebounds. And coming off the bench, Jordan Pratt had 10 points and five rebounds.

The Lions are now 3-7 in PSUAC play. They will look for a win on Friday when they play at Penn State Brandywine at 8pm.
