Hoxie leads Roaring Lions past PS Schuylkill

Lemont Furnace, PA – Entering the weekend, the Penn State Fayette men's basketball team would compete in their first contest since January 5^th and their first PSUAC match-up for the spring season against Penn State Schuylkill. The Roaring Lions picked right up where they left off since winning their non-conference bout against Butler County Community College.

Led by junior forward London Hoxie (1st half-16 pts, 5 rebs, 2 ast) and junior guard Marvin Sidon (1st half-10 pts, 4 rebs, 3 ast), Fayette managed to post an impressive 48 points in the first half, putting the Roaring Lions up by 11 going into the 2^nd half.

With a 2^nd half standout performance by Hoxie, tallying 20 pts (36 total) and 7 rebs (12 total), Fayette posted a 53 point performance. Although, standout performances by Schuylkill's Khari Thompson (19pts), Kody Jacoby (17 pts), and Lamonttea Brown (15 pts) would win them the 2^nd half, Fayette's early lead proved to be the deciding investment towards their eventual 101-94 home win.

Men's basketball will be back in action January 19th^th as they travel to Penn State York for an 8pm tipoff.
