PSGA steals win from Roaring Lions

Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Fayette was back in action Tuesday night as they took on rival Penn State Greater Allegheny in Lemont Furnace.  The Roaring Lions attempted to stop the hot streak the Greater Allegheny has been on as of late in another PSUAC game.  Penn State Fayette was able to go on a few runs throughout the first half which made the halftime score 40-31 in favor of Greater Allegheny.  The Roaring Lions would continue to go on runs throughout the second half as they did in the first.  These runs however were not strong enough to stop the winning ways of Greater Allegheny.  The final of the game from Penn State Fayette 80-73 in favor of Greater Allegheny.

The Roaring Lions were led offensively by London Hoxie who was able to account for 15 points paired with 10 rebounds.  Other highlights for the Roaring Lions included Marvin Sidon with 12 points and 4 rebounds, Iman Young with a strong performance of 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks.  Tavian Mozie also led an offensive charge as Fayette's leading scorer with 17 points coming into the game as a reserve.

Penn State Greater Allegheny was led offensively by Jordan Payne with 23 points and 7 rebounds.  Another strong performance included Curtis Newby with 16 points and 4 rebounds, Kenneth Rouse and Markis Rivera each finishing with 10 points as reserves.

Men's basketball will be back in action January 26th as Penn State Brandywine visits for an 8pm tipoff.
